Do you have a showroom?
Yes. We have over 5,000 square feet of showroom with the latest and best materials, curated for Northern AZ. It is one of the largest showrooms in Northern AZ. Prefer to start at home? We also offer free in-home visits.  

Will you help with designs and color selections?
Yes. Unlike the big box stores, we have an experienced staff to help you select the “just right” materials, styles, and colors. We can do this at our showroom or during a free in-home consultation, where you can see samples in your own lighting.  

Do you help customers compare brands and product quality?
Yes. We walk you through the construction, warranties, maintenance needs, and performance of the products you are considering so you know exactly what you are buying.

Can I see flooring samples before making a decision?
Yes. You can compare samples in person at our showroom, or we can bring samples to your home during a free in-home consultation. Seeing them next to your cabinets, walls, and furniture in your own lighting makes it much easier to judge color, texture, and finish.  

What should I bring when visiting your showroom?
Photos of your space, rough room measurements, inspiration images, and any samples of paint, cabinets, countertops, or existing finishes. A general budget and your preferred timeframe are also helpful. If you would rather not gather everything, we can come to you for a free in-home visit instead.

What flooring is best for pets and children?
For busy households, look at scratch resistance, stain resistance, and how easy the floor is to clean. Laminates, luxury vinyl, tile, and the right carpet products can all work well depending on your home. During a free in-home consultation, we can see how your household lives and recommend products to match.

What flooring works best with radiant heating?
Tile and stone are often a good fit for radiant heat, and some engineered wood and vinyl products are compatible too. Always check the manufacturer’s temperature limits and installation requirements first.

Can you help me choose flooring for a rental property or vacation home?
Yes. We can compare options based on expected traffic, upkeep, appearance, replacement cost, and your budget. These factors matter a lot for rentals and second homes in Northern Arizona. We are happy to visit the property for a free in-home consultation.  

Do you sell environmentally friendly products?

Do you provide both flooring and installation?
Yes. You can work with one company for product selection and installation. We will explain the materials, labor, and prep work involved in your project.

Do you sell material only?
Yes. You can buy material from us if you have your own installer or want to do it yourself.

Do you just do installations?

Do I need to remove my existing flooring before installation?
Not always. Some flooring can go over certain existing surfaces if the manufacturer allows it and the surface is properly prepared. In other cases, removal is needed because of height differences, damage, moisture, or an unsuitable subfloor. We can evaluate your existing floors during a free in-home visit.  

Do you move furniture before installing flooring?
It depends on the project and the items involved. Tell us what needs to be moved during your free in-home consultation, and we will go over who handles what and any added charges.  

Do I need to leave my home during installation?
Usually not. Many projects can be done while you stay home, though access to some rooms may be limited. Noise, dust, adhesives, and odors can affect comfort, so we will help you plan ahead.

Do you repair or prepare subfloors before installing new flooring?
Yes, proper subfloor prep is key to a lasting installation. Depending on the project, that can mean checking for flatness, repairing damaged areas, or removing old adhesive. We will look at your subfloor during the in-home visit and tell you what is needed and how it affects your estimate.  

Do you install flooring in new construction as well as remodels?

How long does a project take?
A single-room furniture refresh typically takes 4 to 8 weeks. A full remodel or vacation rental setup can take 3 to 12 months, depending on scope and lead times for custom items. Your proposal will include a realistic timeline.

How much do your services cost?
Fees depend on the size and scope of your project. Paint color consults are a flat fee, 3D rendering services are billed at $175.00 per hour, and product purchases can be percentage-based. Everything is outlined in your proposal before work begins.

Is your design fee separate from furnishings and construction?
Yes. Our fee covers our design time and expertise. Furnishings, materials, and labor are billed separately with a transparent breakdown, so there are no surprises.

Can you work with my contractor or existing furniture?
Absolutely. We collaborate with architects, builders, and trades, and can recommend trusted professionals if you need them. We are also happy to incorporate pieces you already love.

Do you do showers?

Can you help me design a walk-in shower?
Yes. We can help you explore tile combinations, niches, accent bands, and patterns, and we will talk through drainage, accessibility, and upkeep for your bathroom layout.

Do you install waterproofing systems for custom showers?
Yes. A properly built shower needs a waterproofing system installed to the manufacturer’s requirements and local building codes. We will explain the approach for your project and what is included in your estimate.

Do you do backsplashes?
Yes. We design, select material, and install backsplashes with our in-house designer and installation crew. We can bring tile samples to your kitchen during a free in-home visit so you can see them next to your countertops and cabinets.  

What backsplash tile is best for my kitchen?
It depends on your style, budget, cleaning needs, and your countertops and cabinets. Ceramic, porcelain, glass, and natural stone are all good options, and we will compare the look, care, and installation of each.

Can you install bathroom wall tile and floor tile together?
Yes. Matching wall and floor tile gives a bathroom a clean, unified look. We will help you pick colors, textures, and sizes that work together, with slip resistance in mind for the floor.

How much does a custom tile shower or backsplash cost?
Price depends on the size, tile choice, layout, prep work, waterproofing, demolition, and how detailed the design is. Custom patterns, niches, and specialty materials can add to the total. We will review the scope and costs with you during your free in-home consultation, before work begins.

How do I maintain my new flooring?
It depends on the product. Some floors need only regular sweeping and damp mopping, while hardwood, natural stone, carpet, and grout have extra care steps. We will go over the manufacturer’s recommended cleaners and routines for your selection.

What flooring is easiest to keep clean?
Many customers find luxury vinyl and porcelain tile the easiest to maintain, though it depends on the room and the product. Carpet, hardwood, and natural stone each have different cleaning needs, and we will compare them with you.

Do flooring products come with warranties?
Many do, but coverage varies by product and can depend on installation, care, and use. Ask us for the warranty details on any product you are considering, and whether a separate installation warranty applies.
